Cranking it up…slowly

So I’ve sent in my forms and necessary information for the visa, but it all went quiet over there, at least for a while. We got an e-mail from the Director on Friday, and our programme  officers will be appointed next week. So then we’ll be able to start putting together the itinerary. I met Alan Leshner of AAAS in Barcelona at the European Forum on Science Journalism, so I’ve written to him asking for a few ideas. Hopefully something will come out of that.

My main preparation at the moment is cracking on with the Open University stuff, to make sure I’ve done as much as possible before I go away. And how am I going to be able to keep up the guitar playing??!
