Hmmm…seems I haven’t been very creative since I moved to Australia! Well, I have a bit, but not good about blogging it and admittedly, less so than I was in London and Brussels. I did get married recently and knitted a shrug for myself, using lovely wool bought during the delightful Yarn Corner retreat at Tarndwarncoort. I had starting using a pattern I found on Ravelry called Chocolate Shrug, but couldn’t get the lace pattern to work with the number of stitches, so I replaced it with another stitch pattern, called Faux Braid. When it was knitted it almost looked like a cable pattern, but once blocked came out quite flat.
