Last year on my birthday I decided to keep a musical diary for a year – creating a Spotify playlist that I add to each day. Even though this year has been somewhat turbulent, I have managed to complete the assignment and the results are available for anyone to listen to here.
My rules were pretty relaxed in terms of what I chose each day. Sometimes it was the title, or a lyric. Sometimes it was a song I heard or thought about that day. When I checked the list today, there were 12 days missing (not bad across a whole year) so I added a few that I had added to a holding list, for example on days when I had two or three to choose from.
It’s eclectic mix, to say the least! But would you expect anything else?!
